Introduce

Okkotoshi Puzzle - Tonjan! is a classic puzzle game for the NES, offering a familiar yet engaging gameplay experience within the falling block genre. The primary objective for the player is to arrange blocks (often referred to as "Tonjan" or small characters) that fall from the top of the screen into a confined play area. These blocks typically come in various colors or shapes.

As the blocks descend, players can control their horizontal movement (left/right) and rotation to position them strategically. The goal is to place blocks next to each other to form a group of three or more blocks of the same color or type. When such a group is formed, they disappear from the screen, allowing blocks above them to fall down and potentially trigger chain reactions (combos) if the newly fallen blocks continue to form groups.

The game usually features different play modes, including a single-player mode where you aim for the highest score or progress through increasingly difficult stages, and sometimes a versus mode against the computer or another player. The game ends when the blocks accumulate and reach the top of the screen. To succeed in Okkotoshi Puzzle - Tonjan!, players need quick thinking, foresight, and agile reactions to prevent the screen from filling up.

Despite its simple mechanics, the game's strategic depth and fast pace create a challenging and highly replayable experience, keeping players engaged for hours.
