Introduce

In Mitsume ga Tooru for the NES, players take on the role of Sharaku Hosuke, a seemingly ordinary boy who possesses a mysterious third eye. When this eye is unveiled (by removing the bandage), Sharaku transforms into Wamu, a powerful warrior with superhuman intellect, ready to confront evil forces.

This is a classic action-platformer game where the main objective is to navigate through challenging stages, defeat enemies, and face off against bosses. The control mechanics are quite simple: move left/right, jump, and attack. Sharaku's primary weapon is the Kondoru spear. What makes it unique is that the spear can be thrown and then retrieved, creating a distinctive gameplay style that requires players to calculate and use it effectively.

Throughout the stages, players will encounter various types of monsters and obstacles. When enemies are defeated, they drop coins. These coins can be used in shops hidden within the levels to purchase supportive items. These items include stronger spears, health recovery, or special abilities that help Sharaku overcome difficult sections. Managing money and choosing the right items to purchase is a crucial part of the game's strategy.

Each stage in Mitsume ga Tooru is designed with diverse environments, from dense forests to ancient cities or mysterious caves, faithfully recreating the world from the original manga. The game's difficulty progressively increases, demanding players to have quick reflexes and proficient spear-wielding skills to complete the game.
