Introduce
MC Kids is a classic platformer game for the NES console, released in 1992. Players control one of two kids, Mick or Mack, on a quest to help Ronald McDonald retrieve his stolen magic bag from the thief Hamburglars. The game features traditional side-scrolling gameplay, but its unique element lies in the mechanic of using blocks.
Players can pick up, throw, and stack these blocks to create paths, solve puzzles, or defeat enemies. The ability to interact with blocks is key to overcoming many obstacles and accessing secret areas. Each level in MC Kids is intricately designed with various hazards, diverse enemies, and block-based puzzles. The main objective is to collect pieces of the magic bag and find the way to the end of the stage.
Additionally, players can find hidden "W" (Wizard) coins in each stage to unlock special bonus levels.
