Introduce

The NES game Kiteretsu Daihyakka puts players in the role of Kiteretsu, an intelligent elementary school student capable of inventing magnificent gadgets from his ancestor's book, the “Daihyakka.” Along with his loyal robot assistant Korosuke, Kiteretsu embarks on an exciting adventure through space and time.

Essentially, Kiteretsu Daihyakka is an action-adventure and platforming game. Players will control Kiteretsu as he navigates through a variety of stages, from dense forests and mysterious caves to modern cities or even strange, imaginative worlds. The main objective in each stage is typically to find a specific item, solve a small problem, or defeat a certain enemy to progress further.

The unique aspect of the gameplay lies in Kiteretsu's inventions. Throughout the journey, players will have the opportunity to use various "kigu" (gadgets) created by Kiteretsu. Each kigu has a unique function, from helping Kiteretsu jump higher, fly through the air, move underwater, or even interact with the environment in special ways. Choosing and using the correct kigu at the right time is key to overcoming obstacles and solving simple puzzles.

The combat system in Kiteretsu Daihyakka is quite straightforward. Kiteretsu can attack enemies by jumping on their heads or using some kigu with offensive capabilities. Players need to collect support items to restore health or enhance abilities. The game's graphics feature the familiar cartoon style of Fujiko F. Fujio, with cute and colorful characters and environments. The in-game music also contributes to a fun and engaging adventurous atmosphere. Kiteretsu Daihyakka offers a light yet creative entertainment experience, suitable for those who enjoy adventure and exploration genres.
