Kickle Cubicle (USA)

In Kickle Cubicle, players control the titular character Kickle, an endearing creature with the unique ability to create ice blocks and blow a stream of cold air. The primary objective in each stage is to collect all the "Dream Bags" scattered across the screen. Each stage is a single-screen puzzle filled with various obstacles and enemies.

Kickle can freeze enemies by blowing cold air at them. Once frozen, enemies turn into ice blocks that Kickle can push around. These ice blocks are crucial for solving puzzles: they can be used to fill holes, create bridges over water or spikes, or even be pushed into other enemies to defeat them. However, if you push an ice block into water or a hole, it will disappear, making careful planning of movement and action order essential.

The game introduces a variety of enemies, each with their own behaviors. Some enemies move along fixed paths, while others might chase Kickle. Players must be careful not to touch enemies or deadly obstacles like spikes or water. Additionally, there are special items like cakes that grant Kickle temporary invincibility, or special bridge-creating blocks.

After every few puzzle stages, players will face a boss battle. These boss encounters also require puzzle-solving thinking to figure out their weaknesses. Kickle Cubicle is an excellent blend of puzzle and action elements, requiring players to strategically think about each move to overcome increasingly challenging obstacles.
