Frankenstein - The Monster Returns (USA)

In Frankenstein - The Monster Returns, players take on the role of a descendant of Dr. Frankenstein, who must prevent Frankenstein's monster from returning and unleashing terror upon the world. This is a challenging side-scrolling action platformer.

Each level takes the player through various environments such as ruined castles, gloomy forests, and eerie dungeons, all filled with horrific creatures. You will face countless enemies like zombies, bats, ghouls, and other monsters. To survive, players must utilize their primary weapon, a whip, which can be upgraded to increase its power and range. Additionally, you can find and use sub-weapons such as axes, holy water, or bombs, each with unique uses to help overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.

The gameplay demands precision in movement and timing in attacks. Players must jump over obstacles, avoid traps, and dodge enemy attacks. Support items like health potions to restore health or temporary power-ups will appear scattered throughout the levels. At the end of each stage, players will confront a powerful boss, requiring strategy and skill to defeat. The ultimate goal is to reach the end of the journey to confront and permanently destroy Frankenstein's monster.
