Introduce
In F-15 City War, players step into the cockpit of the legendary F-15 Eagle fighter jet. This is a first-person (cockpit view) flight simulation and shooting game for the NES system.
The primary objective of the game is to complete various combat missions. Missions typically involve destroying enemy aircraft in intense aerial dogfights, or engaging ground targets such as tanks, ships, or military installations. Players will have access to a range of weaponry, including a primary cannon and various types of missiles like the AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow, each with distinct characteristics and effectiveness.
The control interface is relatively straightforward, designed for the NES controller, allowing players to easily manage their aircraft's speed, altitude, and direction. A small radar display helps players locate enemies and objectives, aiding in target acquisition and attack planning. Upon mission completion, players must return to base for a safe landing, refueling, and rearming for the next assignment. The game features multiple stages with increasing difficulty, requiring players to employ strategic thinking and skilled piloting to succeed.
