Introduce

In the NES game Door Door, players take on the role of a small, adorable character named Chun. Your primary objective in each stage is to collect all the candies, fruits, and other items scattered throughout the maze, while simultaneously avoiding or trapping the relentless enemies that pursue you.

The unique and core aspect of the gameplay lies in its door control mechanism. Each stage is designed as a complex maze featuring numerous doors. Players can open or close these doors by walking through them. Opening and closing doors not only helps Chun navigate through different areas but also serves as the primary tool for dealing with enemies. By timing your movements carefully, you can lure enemies into a specific area and then close the door, trapping them or even crushing them for points.

Enemies in Door Door come in various types, each with distinct movement patterns and behaviors. Some enemies simply move in straight lines, while others might jump or change direction abruptly. Players must learn to identify and utilize the characteristics of each enemy type to effectively trap them. If Chun is touched by any enemy, you will lose a life.

Besides trapping monsters, players also need to collect all the items on the screen to complete the level. Once all items have been collected, an exit door will appear, allowing Chun to proceed to the next stage. The game's difficulty progressively increases with each level, featuring more enemies, faster movement speeds, and more intricate maze layouts. Occasionally, special items or power-ups might appear, granting Chun temporary advantages, helping you overcome more challenging obstacles.

Door Door demands strategic thinking, quick reflexes, and good spatial management skills from the player. It is a classic action-puzzle game that offers an experience that is both challenging and highly entertaining.
