Introduce

**Chiller** is a controversial first-person light gun shooter game released for the NES. It gained notoriety for its extremely graphic and disturbing content.

In **Chiller**, players are placed in gruesome settings, typically torture chambers or dungeons. Your primary objective is to shoot and eliminate all the "victims" or "ghostly apparitions" that appear on screen. These "victims" are often bound, chained, or restrained in helpless and grotesque positions.

To clear a level, you must find and shoot all hidden items or dismembered body parts scattered within the environment. This requires careful observation and precise shooting. While the game supports the NES Zapper, players can also control it with a standard controller, moving a cursor and pressing a button to fire.

A unique and shocking aspect of **Chiller** is the complete absence of enemies that fight back. Instead, players simply shoot at defenseless victims, which sparked significant ethical debate about the game's content. Each successful shot causes visible damage to the victims, with surprisingly detailed graphical effects for its time.

The game features several different levels, each with its own distinct horror theme, ranging from medieval torture rooms to cursed estates. **Chiller** is not for the faint of heart and was heavily criticized for its extreme content, making it one of the rarest and most controversial NES titles.
