Introduce
In Castle of Dragon, players embody a brave knight with a noble quest: to rescue the princess abducted by a ferocious dragon. The game is a side-scrolling action title with adventure elements.
You will begin your journey outside the castle, progressing deeper inside through various stages, each filled with enemies and obstacles. Enemies include other knights, monsters, bats, and various mythical creatures. Players must use their sword to fight, dodge attacks, and overcome traps.
The combat system is relatively simple but requires precision. You can collect power-ups such as stronger swords, protective shields, and various magic spells. Magic, like fireballs or lightning, will help you deal with large groups of enemies or tough bosses. Additionally, players can collect gold or gems from defeated foes to purchase useful items at hidden shops within the castle.
Stages typically include areas like dungeons, prison cells, tall towers, and dangerous bridges. The platforming element is quite important, requiring players to accurately jump across gaps and navigate stairs. Each stage often culminates in a challenging boss battle, usually against dragons or giant monsters. The ultimate goal is to confront and defeat the main dragon to rescue the princess and restore peace to the kingdom.
