Adventure Island II (USA)

In Adventure Island II, players take on the role of Master Higgins, a brave hero on a quest to rescue his girlfriend Tina, who has been abducted by aliens. The game is a classic platformer title on the NES console, renowned for its challenging gameplay and adventure elements.

Each level requires players to move from left to right, avoiding obstacles and enemies, and collecting fruit to maintain their energy. A distinctive feature of Adventure Island II compared to its predecessor is the introduction of dinosaur companions. Master Higgins can find and ride four different types of dinosaurs, each offering unique abilities: the Triceratops can breathe fire, the Pterodactyl can fly and drop rocks, the Brontosaurus can attack with its tail and won't slip on ice, and the Elasmosaurus helps move quickly underwater and can spit fire.

Throughout the adventure, Master Higgins will collect various useful items such as stone axes for attacking, skateboards for faster movement, and fairies that grant temporary invincibility. Players can also discover secret areas containing dinosaur eggs or special items. Each island culminates in a thrilling boss battle against one of the alien bosses.
