Introduce

4 Nin Uchi Mahjong is a classic Mahjong game for the NES, focusing on a 4-player Mahjong experience under Japanese rules. The primary goal for players is to build a winning hand from the 13 initial Mahjong tiles dealt and subsequent drawn tiles. Players take turns drawing one tile and discarding one, aiming to form sets of three identical tiles (Pon), sequences of three consecutive tiles (Chi), and one pair (Atama) to complete a 14-tile hand.

The game requires players to have good strategy and observation skills to read opponents' discards and make correct decisions. When a player completes a winning hand, they can declare 'Tsumo' (if they drew the winning tile themselves) or 'Ron' (if they claim a tile discarded by another player). The game also features specific Japanese Mahjong elements like 'Riichi' (declaring that one is one tile away from winning) and penalties for rule violations. The interface is simple and easy to understand, suitable for beginners learning Mahjong while still offering depth for experienced players. Each match progresses through multiple rounds, and the player with the highest score ultimately wins.
