Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Fall of the Foot Clan is a side-scrolling action game developed for the Game Boy system. Players take on the role of one of the four Ninja Turtle brothers: Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, or Raphael, with the goal of rescuing reporter April O'Neil from the clutches of Shredder and the Foot Clan.

Although there are four characters to choose from, players cannot switch between Turtles during gameplay. Each Turtle shares the same basic attack abilities, but choosing a favorite Turtle adds a personal touch. The game consists of five main stages, each culminating in a boss battle. The stages are varied, ranging from sewers and city streets to enemy bases.

The gameplay is quite simple yet addictive. Players move horizontally across the screen, defeating Foot Clan members, Rocksteady, Bebop, and other enemies that appear along the way. The Turtles can attack using their signature weapons (swords, bo staff, nunchaku, sai). They can also jump to avoid obstacles or attack airborne enemies. The Turtle's health bar is displayed in the upper corner of the screen, and players can collect pizza slices to restore health.

Each stage features a challenging boss fight. Bosses include Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Krang, and finally, Shredder. Each boss has their own attack patterns and requires players to find the right strategy to defeat them. The Game Boy's black and white graphics do not diminish the game's appeal; on the contrary, they create a unique charm. The music and sound effects are also well-reproduced, providing a familiar experience for TMNT fans.
