Introduce
In Taito Memorial - Chase HQ - Secret Police (GBC), players assume the role of an elite police officer, tasked with pursuing and apprehending dangerous criminals fleeing on the road.
Each stage begins with a dispatch call regarding the target. You will drive your police cruiser at high speeds through busy roads. The objective is not just to catch up but also to repeatedly ram the criminal's vehicle to damage it and force it to stop before the time runs out.
The road is displayed in a pseudo-3D perspective, creating an impressive sense of speed for the GBC. Players must skillfully avoid other traffic vehicles to prevent losing time and momentum. There are straight sections of the road where you can utilize the "Turbo" or "Nitro" boost to gain a sudden burst of speed, which is crucial for closing the gap on your target.
The game features multiple stages, each with a different type of criminal vehicle and increasing difficulty. Time management is a critical factor, as every mission has a countdown timer. Failing to apprehend the criminal within the allotted time results in mission failure. Taito Memorial - Chase HQ - Secret Police offers a classic arcade driving experience, full of challenge and excitement.
