Super Breakout! is a classic Arcade game originally released by Atari, and this Game Boy Color version brings the familiar brick-breaking experience with several enhancements. The main objective for the player remains to control a paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce a ball upwards and destroy all the bricks arranged at the top.

The game starts with a single ball and your paddle. As the ball hits the bricks, they disappear. Some special bricks may contain falling power-ups, providing advantages to the player. These power-ups can include increasing the paddle's size, slowing down the ball's speed, generating multiple balls simultaneously, or providing a fiery ball capable of piercing through multiple bricks. Finally, the Progressive mode offers a more dynamic experience as brick rows continuously move downwards on the screen, forcing the player to act quickly before they reach the bottom.

The graphics on GBC offer bright colors and clear visuals, fitting the game's Arcade style. The sound design also aims to create a familiar feel with collision noises and effects when picking up power-ups.
