In Soreike! Anpanman - Fushigi na Nikoniko Album, players embark on a delightful adventure with Anpanman and his friends. The main objective of the game is to help Anpanman collect 'Nikoniko' – joyful smiles and emotions – to complete a mysterious album. Gameplay primarily revolves around interacting with familiar characters from the Anpanman universe through a series of diverse and simple mini-games. These mini-games are designed for children, focusing on light puzzles, image recognition, or basic reflex challenges.
Each time a mini-game is successfully completed or a character is helped, players will receive a new 'Nikoniko' to add to the album. This album is not just a collection but also a place to store joyful moments and small lessons. Additionally, players will encounter many beloved characters such as Shokupanman, Currypanman, Melonpanna, and of course, the antagonist Baikinman. Baikinman will sometimes appear to cause mischief, adding a bit of challenge for the player.
