In Pokemon Red Version (Colorization), players embark on an epic adventure as a young trainer in the vast Kanto region. The primary goal is to become the greatest Pokemon Champion.
The game begins when you receive your first starter Pokemon from Professor Oak, choosing between Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. From there, you will explore the world, traversing cities, towns, caves, and forests, encountering countless types of wild Pokemon.
Core gameplay revolves around catching, training, and battling Pokemon. When encountering wild Pokemon, you can battle them to weaken them and then use a Poke Ball to capture them. Each Pokemon possesses unique attributes (such as Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, etc.) and a distinct set of skills. Understanding type advantages and disadvantages is key to winning battles.
You will face off against other trainers, from rival competitors to Gym Leaders. After defeating eight Gym Leaders, you will qualify to challenge the Elite Four and the reigning Champion. Additionally, another crucial element is completing the Pokedex – an encyclopedia that records information on all 151 Pokemon species available in the game.
The game also encourages social interaction through trading Pokemon with friends to complete your collection, especially with the Blue or Yellow versions to obtain all 151 Pokemon. The "Colorization" version provides a more vibrant visual experience compared to the original black-and-white Game Boy release, making the world of Pokemon feel more vivid and engaging.
