In Pocket Pro Wrestling - Perfect Wrestler, players dive into the exciting world of professional wrestling on the Game Boy Color system. The main highlight of the game is the ability to create your own "perfect" wrestler. You can customize everything from their appearance, hairstyle, and attire to their unique set of moves. Stats like strength, speed, and stamina can also be developed over time.
Gameplay revolves around intense wrestling matches. Players will utilize basic attacks such as punches, kicks, throws, and submission holds to weaken their opponents. Once an opponent is weakened, you can perform signature finishing moves to secure a victory via pinfall or submission. The controls are designed to be simple, fitting the GBC, allowing players to easily execute combos and counter-attacks.
The game features a Career Mode where you'll start as a rookie wrestler, participate in tournaments, and face various opponents to climb the ranks. Through each match, your wrestler will gain experience, unlock new moves, and improve their skills. The ultimate goal is to become the champion, recognized as a true "Perfect Wrestler." The pixel art graphics, characteristic of classic GBC games, combined with lively sound, recreate the thrilling atmosphere of wrestling matches.
