Mobile Golf is a golf game developed by Camelot and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color system. This title stands out not only as a high-quality golf game on a portable platform but also for its unique ability to connect with the Nintendo 64 title, Mario Golf, via the Transfer Pak, allowing players to exchange data and characters.

In terms of gameplay, Mobile Golf adheres to the fundamental rules of golf. Players control a character (including familiar faces from the Mario universe such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi, along with new Camelot characters) to hit the ball into the hole with the fewest possible strokes. The control interface is simple yet effective, utilizing the classic "three-click" system to determine the power and accuracy of a shot.

Specifically, the player presses the A button once to start the power meter, a second time to select the desired power, and a third time to determine the shot's accuracy (impact point). The game offers various types of clubs, from woods for long-distance shots, irons for mid-range, to wedges and putters for short approaches and on the green.

Mobile Golf features multiple game modes, including Tournament Mode where players compete for trophies, Stroke Play, and Practice Mode. The golf courses are diverse, featuring various obstacles like water hazards, sand traps, and sloped terrain, requiring players to carefully strategize each shot.

A distinctive aspect of Mobile Golf is its character system, with each character possessing unique stats for power, accuracy, and control. Players can choose a character that suits their playstyle or upgrade their stats by playing and achieving accomplishments.
