Introduce

Matchbox Emergency Patrol is a simulation and action game for the Game Boy Color, putting players in the role of members of the Matchbox emergency response team. Your primary goal is to keep the city safe by reacting quickly and efficiently to various emergency situations.

The game allows you to control three familiar types of emergency vehicles: the fire truck, the ambulance, and the police car. Each vehicle type will have distinct missions and require different approaches.

When controlling the fire truck, you will receive alerts about fires. Your mission is to drive to the scene, locate the blaze, and use the water hose to extinguish the flames. This requires precision in movement and aiming the water stream.

With the ambulance, you'll need to respond to medical emergencies. You must drive to the patient's location, pick them up, and then quickly transport them to the hospital. Time is a critical factor in these missions.

Finally, when driving the police car, you will engage in criminal pursuits or resolve situations requiring police intervention. This might involve chasing down a suspect's vehicle, setting up roadblocks, or apprehending criminals.

Each successful mission earns you points or rewards, encouraging players to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. The game features simple yet clear graphics, suitable for the Game Boy Color's capabilities, and offers a challenging and engaging simulation of emergency rescue work.
