Buster Bros (GB)

In Buster Bros (also known as Pang in some regions), players control one of two explorer brothers, the Buster Bros, armed with a special harpoon gun. Your primary objective is to destroy all the bouncing bubbles or balloons suspended on the screen. Each time you shoot a large bubble, it splits into two smaller ones, and this process continues until the bubbles are small enough to be completely destroyed.

The gameplay demands quick reflexes and strategic thinking. Players must skillfully maneuver their character to avoid contact with the bouncing bubbles. If touched by a bubble, the player loses a life. The game features numerous levels, each with its unique layout and challenges, sometimes incorporating obstacles like ice blocks or ladders to add complexity.

To assist players, Buster Bros offers various power-up items. For instance, you might acquire a double harpoon for faster firing, a stopwatch to slow down time, a temporary shield for protection, or a grapple hook to hold a bubble in place. The ultimate goal is to complete all levels, freeing the world from the mysterious bubble threat. The GBC version brings colorful graphics and the classic arcade experience to the handheld device.
