Asterix & Obelix (GB)

In Asterix & Obelix (GB) GBC, players take control of one of the two famous Gallic heroes: Asterix or Obelix, each possessing distinct strengths and weaknesses. Asterix is more agile, can jump higher, and can consume magic potion for a temporary power boost, allowing him to easily overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. Conversely, Obelix is physically stronger, capable of breaking large obstructions and throwing heavy boulders, creating new paths or inflicting significant damage on Roman soldiers.

The gameplay is primarily a classic platformer combined with adventure elements. Players will traverse through diverse levels, ranging from the dense forests of Gaul to Roman encampments and even distant lands like Egypt. The main objective is to defeat countless Roman soldiers blocking the path, solve simple puzzles, find important items, and overcome obstacles by jumping, climbing, or utilizing the characters' special abilities. Collectible items include food for health recovery and magic potions for Asterix. The game demands skillful control and sometimes strategic thinking to overcome its challenges.
