Animorphs (Europe) (GBC)

In Animorphs, players step into the shoes of one of the Animorphs – teenagers with the extraordinary ability to morph into any animal they touch. The storyline is based on the popular book series, where you must thwart the invasion plans of the Yeerks – parasitic alien creatures attempting to conquer Earth.

The gameplay primarily consists of action-adventure with light puzzle elements. Players navigate through various environments, from urban settings to dense forests, utilizing their morphing abilities to overcome obstacles and engage in combat.

Each animal morph grants unique skills and advantages. For instance, morphing into a bird allows you to fly over large gaps, transforming into a mouse enables you to squeeze through narrow crevices, or becoming a tiger provides powerful attacks against enemies. Choosing the appropriate form is crucial for solving puzzles and progressing through the game.

Combat typically involves hand-to-hand attacks or special moves unique to each animal form. You will encounter various types of Yeerk enemies and creatures under their control. The objective is to identify their weaknesses and defeat them to liberate areas.
