Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu is a reimagining of the classic Pokémon Yellow game on Game Boy. The game offers a completely new experience with simplified Pokémon catching gameplay, inspired by Pokémon GO. Instead of battling to weaken wild Pokémon, players will throw Poké Balls to catch them. The rarity of the Pokémon and the skill of throwing Poké Balls will affect the success of the catch.
A special feature of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu is having Pikachu as a fixed companion, accompanying you throughout the journey. Pikachu can interact with you, express emotions, and assist in Gym battles. You can explore the Kanto region with Pikachu, meet other trainers, and collect all 151 Pokémon.
The game supports a two-player co-op mode, allowing you and your friends to explore the Pokémon world and battle together. In addition, Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu integrates with Pokémon GO, allowing you to transfer Pokémon from the mobile app to Nintendo Switch.
The battle system in the game still retains the familiar Turn-Based mechanism, but is improved with special attacks and beautiful visual effects. Collecting and training Pokémon remains the core element of the game, helping you build a strong Pokémon team to face the Elite Four and become the champion.
