Pokémon Ruby Version is a role-playing game (RPG) in the popular Pokémon series. The game puts you in the role of a young Pokémon Trainer starting a journey to explore the Hoenn region. Your main task is to catch, train, and battle Pokémon to become the Pokémon League champion.
Gameplay revolves around traveling between cities and towns, exploring wild areas, and catching Pokémon using Poké Balls. You will participate in turn-based Pokémon battles, using your Pokémon's special moves and abilities to defeat your opponents. The Pokémon type system (such as Fire, Water, Grass…) greatly affects the effectiveness of battles, requiring players to build a strategic battle team.
Besides battling, you can also participate in many other activities such as: searching for items, solving puzzles, interacting with characters in the game, participating in contests, and exploring a captivating main storyline. Pokémon Ruby Version has a unique storyline with mysteries to be solved, memorable characters, and exciting battles. The Pokémon leveling-up system and learning new moves are also essential, helping you make your Pokémon stronger. The game also has additional features such as connecting with the Pokémon Sapphire version to trade Pokémon or battle with friends.
