Introduce

Mandrake the Magician is a 2D adventure game based on the comic strip of the same name. Players take on the role of Mandrake, a skilled magician with the ability to hypnotize and use magic. Gameplay focuses on solving puzzles, interacting with the environment, and using magic to overcome obstacles. Many puzzles require players to think logically and carefully observe their surroundings. Certain spells can be used to interact with objects in the game, opening up new paths or solving complex puzzles. Although a prototype, the game demonstrates basic gameplay mechanics such as movement, interaction, and spellcasting. The game features simple pixel art graphics, yet still captures the distinctive characteristics of Mandrake and his world. Being a prototype, the game may contain bugs and unfinished features.
