Driv3r on GBA delivers a scaled-down but still exciting action-driving experience. The game focuses on driving missions, ranging from pursuing criminals and delivering goods to high-speed races. Although the graphics are limited by the GBA's capabilities, the game still manages to depict a city with various locations, from bustling streets to quiet suburbs.

Players control the protagonist through assigned missions, using skillful driving techniques to overcome obstacles, evade police, and outmaneuver opponents. The control system is simplified to suit the handheld console but remains refined enough to provide a realistic driving feel. The game offers several vehicle types, each with unique characteristics in terms of speed, handling, and durability.

In addition to driving, players will also have to complete side missions, such as collecting items, searching for information, or eliminating enemies. Although not overly complex, these missions add diversity and appeal to the gameplay.
