Introduce
Xevious on GBA is a portable version of the classic scrolling shooter. Players control the Solvalou fighter, tasked with destroying giant alien creatures called Sol, while also destroying their fortresses and bases on the planet's surface. The gameplay combines shooting and strategy. You need to skillfully dodge enemy fire while aiming accurately to destroy them. The game has two main weapons: a continuous-fire main gun and powerful bombs with limited quantities. Using bombs wisely is crucial to destroy large and tough targets.
In addition to shooting down airborne enemies, players also need to land on the ground to destroy fortresses. Fortresses are usually protected by various types of soldiers and have strong defensive capabilities. Attacking fortresses requires careful planning, effectively utilizing terrain and weapons.
The game features many different levels, each with its own difficulty and challenges. Enemies become increasingly powerful, requiring players to have good control skills and flexible tactics. Xevious GBA retains the original's graphics and sound quality, offering players a nostalgic experience.
