Battletoads (USA) (Proto) on GBA delivers a classic action-platforming experience with characteristic pixel art graphics. Players control the three toads Rash, Zitz, and Pimple in a challenging adventure to rescue a princess. The gameplay includes diverse levels, alternating between running, jumping, fighting, and puzzle-solving sections.
Battletoads is known for its high difficulty, requiring players to have quick reflexes and good coordination. Each character has unique abilities; for example, Rash has powerful punches, Zitz excels with weapons, and Pimple possesses special abilities.
The levels are creatively designed, with many dangerous traps and diverse enemies, from bizarre monsters to powerful bosses. Some levels require players to control vehicles, adding to the challenge and variety of the gameplay.
This prototype version may have some bugs or unfinished features compared to the official release, but it still provides an enjoyable experience for those who love classic games and want to explore unfinished versions of famous titles.
