From the start, you choose one of four legendary wrestlers, each with unique stats and and signature moves, including Bruce Blade, Sledge Hammer, The Great Maskman, and Golden Hulk. The main objective is to defeat formidable opponents and claim the world championship belt.

The gameplay of Wrestle War focuses on one-on-one matches inside a wrestling ring. Players can move freely around the ring and utilize a variety of attack moves. Once grappled, you can execute a spectacular array of powerful moves such as suplexes, piledrivers, body slams, or dropkicks.
