In Twin Hawk, players take control of a state-of-the-art fighter jet amidst an all-out war. This classic vertical scrolling shoot 'em up challenges you to navigate through relentless enemy fire and respond with overwhelming firepower.

The core gameplay of Twin Hawk revolves around dodging dense bullet patterns while retaliating with powerful attacks. Your aircraft is equipped with a primary gun that can be upgraded in power by collecting power-up icons. A unique feature of the game is the ability to summon and manage a formation of support helicopters. Initially, you can call upon a certain number of these choppers, which will fly in formation around your main plane, providing additional firepower and acting as a defensive shield. This introduces a strategic element: you can sacrifice one or more of your support choppers to unleash a powerful screen-clearing bomb, devastating enemies or inflicting significant damage on resilient targets.

Players also have a limited supply of bombs that can be activated with a separate button. Throughout the stages, you will encounter a variety of enemy types, ranging from small fighter jets, tanks, and battleships to colossal airships and military bases.
