Introduce

Toryumon is an arcade wrestling game developed by Konami, based on the real-life professional wrestling promotion of the same name in Japan. The game offers intense one-on-one wrestling action with 3D graphics.

In Toryumon, players select from a roster of available wrestlers, each possessing their own unique set of skills and moves. The primary objective is to defeat the opponent by depleting their energy bar to zero through a combination of strikes, grapples, and special moves.

The control system is relatively intuitive, typically involving buttons for light attacks, strong attacks, grappling, running, and blocking. Players can execute various types of strikes, including punches, kicks, throws, and holds. Combining button presses and directional inputs allows for combos and special maneuvers. Grappling is a central aspect of the gameplay, enabling players to perform slams, submission holds, or finishing moves when the opponent is weakened.

Each wrestler has one or more signature finisher moves that can be executed once a special energy meter is filled. These moves often deal significant damage and are an effective way to end a match. The game also features elements like countering and escaping holds, requiring players to have quick reflexes and good strategy.

Victory can be achieved through pinfall, submission, or count-out in certain match types. Toryumon focuses on fast-paced, entertaining action, typical of an arcade experience.
