In Top Player's Golf, players will experience the sport of golf in a realistic and engaging way on an arcade platform. The gameplay focuses on mastering ball-striking techniques, requiring precision and perfect timing. Players will control one of two characters, each with different stats, and participate in golf rounds across various courses.
The swing mechanism is implemented through a simple yet effective power meter. First, players need to press a button to determine the desired power of the shot, then press it again to determine the accuracy of the shot. Timing errors can lead to off-target shots, sending the ball into challenging areas like sand traps or water hazards. The game also accounts for environmental factors such as wind direction and terrain slope, forcing players to calculate carefully before each shot.
The objective for each hole is to get the ball into the hole with the fewest possible strokes. The game provides various camera angles, including an overhead view for a course overview and a behind-the-player view for shot alignment. With detailed graphics and lively sounds, Top Player's Golf delivers the feeling of actually being on the golf course, being both challenging and entertaining.
