Introduce

In Time Pilot, players control a jet fighter capable of 360-degree movement within an open-ended scrolling environment. The primary objective is to destroy various enemy aircraft that appear from all directions and rescue parachuting pilots. Each level represents a different time era, starting in 1970 with helicopters and jets, then progressing through World War I with biplanes, World War II with classic fighters, the modern era with advanced jets, and finally the future with futuristic spacecraft.

To complete a stage, players must destroy a specific number of enemy formations. Once enough enemies are eliminated, a large mothership or formidable boss unique to that era will appear. This is the stage boss, and players must concentrate their firepower to destroy it. After defeating the boss, players advance to the next era.

The control scheme of Time Pilot is simple yet effective: a joystick for movement and a button for firing. It's crucial to constantly move and dodge incoming projectiles from enemies. Rescuing parachuting pilots (who appear after a certain number of enemy planes are destroyed) grants significant bonus points. The game's graphics featured smooth animations and impressive explosion effects for its time, creating an engaging and challenging arcade shooting experience.
