The NewZealand Story (World, newer)

In The NewZealand Story, players control Tiki, an adorable little kiwi bird, on a quest to rescue his friends and girlfriend Phee-Phee, who have been kidnapped by a leopard seal. The game is a classic arcade platformer with simple yet addictive gameplay.

Each level requires Tiki to find and rescue all the caged kiwis, or find the exit before time runs out. Tiki can walk, jump, and utilize various weapons. Tiki's basic weapon is arrows. However, players can collect more powerful weapons such as bombs, lasers, or fireballs to deal with a diverse array of enemies like seals, polar bears, and many other strange creatures.

A unique aspect of The NewZealand Story is the ability to ride flying vehicles. Tiki can jump onto and control hot air balloons, UFOs, or blimps to navigate through difficult-to-reach areas or avoid obstacles. These vehicles can also be destroyed, causing Tiki to fall.

Levels often feature multiple hidden paths and secrets, encouraging player exploration. There are hidden keys to find that unlock new areas. Occasionally, Tiki will face bosses at the end of levels or in significant areas. The game features a total of 16 levels, each divided into smaller sections, creating a long and challenging adventure. The ultimate goal is to rescue Phee-Phee from the clutches of the final boss.
