Introduce

In Terra Cresta, players pilot the Wing Galiber spaceship in an intense cosmic battle against alien forces. This is a classic vertical-scrolling shooter, where the screen continuously moves upwards, guiding players through various environments from deep space to planetary surfaces.

The unique aspect of Terra Cresta lies in its collection and transformation system. Players can collect five auxiliary ships (numbered 1 through 5). Once collected, these ships attach to the rear of the main vessel. Pressing the "Formation" button will cause these sub-ships to detach and fly in a specific formation around the main ship, providing enhanced firepower or special defensive capabilities. Each sub-ship offers a distinct function when in formation:

  • Sub-ship 1: Enhances forward firepower.
  • Sub-ship 2: Fires backwards.
  • Sub-ship 3: Fires sideways.
  • Sub-ship 4: Fires diagonally.
  • Sub-ship 5: Creates a defensive shield.

A special event occurs when the player collects all five auxiliary ships. Pressing the "Formation" button again will transform all ships into a massive, powerful firebird formation known as the "Firebird". This Firebird formation boasts immense destructive power and temporary invincibility, helping players overcome the most challenging situations.

Enemies in Terra Cresta are diverse, ranging from small fighter formations to ground-based defensive structures and colossal bosses at the end of each stage. Players must strategically dodge enemy fire and attack foes to survive. Losing a life results in the loss of collected auxiliary ships, forcing players to restart the process of building their formation.
