Introduce
Space Invaders is a classic arcade shooter with incredibly simple controls but surprisingly addictive gameplay. Players control a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, tasked with shooting down alien spaceships moving downwards. These spaceships move horizontally, changing direction and firing projectiles downwards. Players must move their cannon left and right to dodge projectiles and shoot down the spaceships. After eliminating a certain number of ships, they move lower, increasing the difficulty. The game features multiple levels, each increasing the difficulty in terms of speed and the number of enemy ships. Points are accumulated based on the number of ships destroyed. Some versions of Space Invaders include additional elements such as periodically appearing motherships, or different types of enemy ships with varying strengths, adding diversity and challenge to the gameplay. The simple goal is to survive as long as possible and achieve the highest score.
