Introduce

Aquarium is a classic arcade game known for its simple yet addictive gameplay. The objective is to control a joystick (usually a horizontal one) to move a net or fishing rod at the bottom of the screen. The task is to catch the fish swimming on the screen; each type of fish yields a different score. Larger, faster fish give higher scores but are more difficult to catch.

The game usually has a time limit or a number of lives. When time runs out or lives are depleted, the game ends, and the score is recorded. Some versions of Aquarium feature special items such as bombs to eliminate multiple fish at once or magnets to attract fish more easily. However, the core of the gameplay remains the player's skill and quick reflexes in manipulating the joystick to catch fish accurately and efficiently. The difficulty of the game increases over time, with fish swimming faster and more types of fish appearing. This requires players to constantly focus and hone their skills to achieve the highest score.

Although the graphics of Aquarium are usually quite simple, with only 2D images of fish and background, this simplicity highlights the game's addictive and engaging gameplay. Aquarium is a prime example of a successful arcade game due to the perfect combination of simple, easy-to-understand gameplay and high competitiveness.
